DOHA: The Department of Meteorology has issued a cautionary report forecasting relatively hot weather with reduced horizontal visibility for Sunday.

Inshore conditions are anticipated to begin with mist and fog in certain areas, gradually giving way to daytime warmth accompanied by intermittent clouds. The department warns of poor horizontal visibility initially, urging caution for commuters and travelers.

Offshore, the weather is expected to commence with haziness, interspersed with periods of scattered clouds. Wind patterns are predicted to vary, with inshore winds ranging from northeasterly to easterly at speeds of 5 to 15 knots, occasionally gusting up to 18 knots during the daytime. Offshore, wind directions are likely to be mainly northeasterly to northwesterly at speeds of 5 to 15 knots.

Visibility inshore may dip to 4 to 8 kilometers or even less in certain areas initially, while offshore visibility is estimated to range from 4 to 8 kilometers.

Sea conditions are forecasted to be relatively calm, with inshore sea states ranging from 1 to 3 feet and offshore sea states varying from 2 to 4 feet.

Residents and visitors are advised to stay updated on weather alerts and exercise caution, particularly during morning hours when visibility may be significantly reduced.
