Assistant Undersecretary for Migrant Workers Affairs at the Ministry of Labour Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman Al Thani participated in the second edition of the Qatar Social Responsibility Conference and Exhibition, organised by Qatar University and Moubadara for Social Impact under the theme ‘The Future of CSR in a Circular Economy’.

In her keynote speech at the session titled ‘Recent International Developments in Responsible Business Behaviour’, Sheikha Najwa bint Abdulrahman Al Thani highlighted the international mechanisms for responsible business and Qatar’s efforts in this regard.

The conference discussed the circular economy, sustainability, and human rights with the participation of a group of experts and academics from business schools around the world and participating international organisations. An initiative by Mubadara for Social Impact, Qatar CSR Summit 2024 is part of the 11th Qatar CSR National Program.

Alongside the conference and exhibition, the event will include the annual Qatar CSR National Report and the prestigious Qatar CSR Awards. This special programme aims to honour organisations and individuals for embracing the principles of corporate responsibility in their business philosophy and operations.
