Paris: Record champions Lyon have reached the final of the women’s Champions League for the 11th time and set up a showdown with Barcelona. Goals from Selma Bacha and Melchie Dumornay earned them a 2-1 win and a 5-3 aggregate success in the semi-finals against Paris Saint-Germain on Sunday. Lyon hold the record for most titles in the competition with eight and are also the team with most appearances in the final. There was a good response from PSG and the game was end to end, with half-chances for both sides. A fine reaction save from PSG goalkeeper Constance Picaud prevented an own goal. Barcelona overturned a 1-0 first-leg loss and defeated 10-player Chelsea 2-0 on Saturday with goals from Aitana Bonmatí and Fridolina Rolfö . The final will take place on May 25 at the San Mamés Stadium in Bilbao. (dpa)
