DOHA: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani has received Acting US Assistant Secretary of State for Political AffairsJohn Bass, who is currently visiting the country.
They reviewed the close strategic relations between Qatar and the United States of America and ways to support and develop them.
They also discussed developments in the situation in the region and ways to reduce escalation, especially ending the war in the Gaza Strip, and enhancing security and stability in Afghanistan.
