800m silver for Qatar’s Hamid

Qatar’s Hatem Hamid won 800m silver at the U-20 Asian Athletics Championship in Dubai on Saturday. Hamid clocked 1:48.39 seconds. This is Hamid’s second medal in the championship, after he earlier won gold in the 1500m. Qatar has won four gold and silver so far. On Friday, Omar Dawoud had clinched gold in the 110m hurdles, while Saif Hemida won the pole vault event.
