His Excellency Sheikh Joaan bin Hamad Al Thani, Senior Vice-President of the Association of National Olympic Committees (ANOC) and President of the Qatar Olympic Committee (QOC), participated via videoconference in the 89th ANOC Executive Council Meeting held on Saturday (April 27) in Athens, Greece.
The meeting, chaired by Dr. Robin Mitchell, President of ANOC, was attended by members of the ANOC Executive Council.
During the meeting, discussions focused on key topics such as the latest preparations for the ANOC World Beach Games and the upcoming Paris 2024 Summer Olympic Games.
The session also included a review of the ANOC’s Strategic Plan and updates from the Continental Associations and various ANOC Commissions on their recent initiatives.
