DOHA: The 23rd batch of wounded Palestinians in the Gaza Strip arrived in Dohain preparation for their treatment, as part of an initiative of His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to treat 1,500 Palestinians from the Strip.
Several Palestinians with Qatari residency were also evacuated from the Gaza Strip, who were stuck in the Strip as a result of the war and had previously been unable to leave.
They were received by Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater.
The initiative to treat the wounded Palestinians comes as a continuation of Qatar's steadfast support and its ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of the Palestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in light of the humanitarian conditions that the Strip is currently witnessing.
