DOHA: The Qatar Meteorological Department has forecasthazy weather conditions across the region for Saturday.

In its daily weather report, the department stated that inland areas are likely to experience haziness initially, followed by relatively warm temperatures as the day progresses.

Offshore, the weather is expected to be characterized by periods of haziness and mistiness, interspersed with scattered cloud cover, according to the report.

In terms of wind patterns, inland regions will witness variable winds initially, with speeds remaining below 5 knots before transitioning to predominantly northeasterly to southeasterly directions at speeds ranging from 5 to 15 knots. Similarly, offshore regions will experience variable winds initially, eventually shifting to southeasterly to northeasterly directions at speeds ranging from 5 to 15 knots.

Visibility is anticipated to range from 4 to 9 kilometres inland, with localized areas experiencing reduced visibility at times. Offshore visibility is expected to be between 4 to 8 kilometers, with similar instances of reduced visibility.

Sea conditions are predicted to be relatively calm, with inland sea states ranging between 1 to 2 feet, while offshore areas may experience slightly higher sea states ranging from 2 to 4 feet.

Residents and seafarers are advised to exercise caution and stay updated with the latest weather forecasts as they plan their activities for the day.
