DOHA: The Department of Meteorology has issued its daily weather report indicating a shift towards relatively hot conditions for today. Inshore, mist and fog are anticipated initially, with the weather warming up as the day progresses. However, the department has cautioned about the likelihood of poor horizontal visibility in certain areas during the initial hours.

Offshore, a similar pattern is expected with misty conditions giving way to haziness later in the day. Wind speeds inshore will start off variable, under 5 knots, before settling into mainly northeasterly to southeasterly directions at speeds ranging from 3 to 13 knots. Offshore, winds will also begin variable before shifting to northwesterly to northeasterly directions at speeds of 5 to 15 knots.

Visibility concerns persist both inshore and offshore, with ranges expected to be between 4 to 8 kilometers or less in some areas initially. Sea conditions are projected to be relatively calm, with inshore waves reaching heights of 1 to 2 feet and offshore waves ranging between 2 to 4 feet.

Residents and maritime users are advised to stay updated on weather conditions and exercise caution, especially during the early hours when visibility may be reduced.
