DOHA: The Department of Meteorology has forecasta day of moderate to relatively hot temperatures for Thursday in Doha. According to their daily weather report, the coastal areas will experience hazy conditions, with temperatures rising throughout the day.
Offshore, the weather is expected to be hazy with intermittent mist. Wind patterns will vary, initially remaining calm at less than 5 knots, before shifting to mainly northeasterly to easterly directions at speeds ranging from 5 to 15 knots, occasionally gusting up to 20 knots in certain areas.
Visibility both inshore and offshore is predicted to range between 5 to 9 kilometers at times. Sea conditions are expected to be relatively calm, with inshore waves reaching heights of 1 to 3 feet, and offshore waves ranging from 2 to 4 feet.
Residents and visitors are advised to take necessary precautions to stay hydrated and protected from the sun's heat, especially during the daytime when temperatures are expected to peak.
