DOHA: Residents of Qatar can anticipate relatively hot weather conditions today, as outlined in the daily weather report by the Department of Meteorology.

Inshore, daytime temperatures are expected to soar, accompanied by intermittent cloud cover and slight dust in some areas. Offshore, the weather will initially be hazy, gradually clearing up as the day progresses.

Winds in the region are forecasted to be predominantly southwesterly to northwesterly, blowing at speeds ranging from 8 to 18 knots, with gusts reaching up to 25 knots in certain locations. Offshore winds will mirror this pattern, transitioning from southwesterly to northwesterly at speeds of 10 to 20 knots, then becoming southeasterly by afternoon, blowing at 3 to 13 knots.

Visibility both inshore and offshore is expected to range between 5 to 9 kilometers, providing relatively clear conditions for outdoor activities.

Regarding sea conditions, inshore waters are projected to experience waves measuring 1 to 3 feet, while offshore, waves will be higher, ranging from 3 to 6 feet. However, by afternoon, offshore waves are expected to decrease to 2 to 3 feet.

Residents and maritime users are advised to stay updated on weather forecasts and exercise caution, particularly with regard to sea activities, due to the expected fluctuations in wind and wave conditions throughout the day.
