Qatar’s Abdullah Abubakr qualifies for Paris Olympics

Qatar’s middle-distance runner Abdullah Abubakr qualified for Paris Olympics following a brilliant show at the Athletics Championships held in Spain on Sunday. Abubakr clocked 1.44.60s to win the 800m race and book his Paris ticket. The entry standard for Olympics in the discipline is 1:44.70.
