DOHA: The Meteorological Department has issued a warning of strong winds and high waves at sea, contrasting with the expectation of moderate weather along the coast on Wednesday. According to the department's forecast, coastal areas will experience moderate temperatures during the day with intermittent clouds. However, sea conditions will be marked by scattered clouds.

Winds along the coast are anticipated to blow from the northwest to the west, with speeds ranging between 5 and 15 knots. Occasional gusts reaching 18 knots are expected in certain areas. Similarly, at sea, winds will be northwesterly, ranging between 6 and 16 knots, with gusts potentially reaching 23 knots intermittently.

Horizontal visibility is forecasted to be between 5 and 10 kilometers both along the coast and at sea.

Wave heights are expected to reach between 2 and 4 feet along the coast and at sea, occasionally rising to 7 feet.

The highest temperature predicted for Doha is 30 degrees Celsius.

Residents and seafarers are advised to exercise caution, particularly those venturing out to sea, in light of the anticipated strong winds and high waves.
