DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani made a phone call on Tuesday with HRH Prince Mohammed bin Salman bin Abdulaziz Al Saud, Crown Prince and Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.
During the call, they reviewed relations between the two countries and ways to strengthen and develop them, in addition to discussing developments in the situation in the regional and international arenas, especially in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories.
In this regard, the two sides stressed the need to reduce all forms of escalation and avoid the expansion of the conflict in the region and stressed the importance of a ceasefire in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories to achieve a permanent and final solution to the Palestinian issue, achieving lasting and comprehensive peace in the region.
