DOHA: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HESheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani hasreceived a phone call from Secretary of State of the United States of America Anthony Blinken.
During the call, developments in the situation in the region, and ways to reduce escalation and calm down, especially ending the war in the Gaza Strip, were reviewed.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar's deep concern about developments in the situation in the region, calling on all parties to calm down and exercise the utmost restraint.
He stressed the need for joint action to reduce escalation in the region and resolve differences peacefully.
He also renewed Qatar's commitment to supporting all regional and international efforts aimed at achieving security and stability at the regional and international levels.
