DOHA: The Ministry of Education and Higher Education (MoEHE) has announced that it was decided to adopt the distance education system on Tuesday for public and private schools, in light of the updates issued by the Qatar Meteorological Department regarding the forecast of thunderstorms.
The move is a result of the ministry’s concern for the safety of students while ensuring the continuation of the educational process.The ministry explained, in a statement, that distance education will be for government schools through the Qatar Education System, and private schools through the educational platforms for each school, with teachers providing lessons remotely.
