Kuldeep Kour Bahl, treasurer of the Indian Community Benevolent Forum (ICBF) and head of Domestic Workers’ Welfare, received a befitting farewell from members of the community at ICBF Kanjani Hall.

Kuldeep’s departure marks the end of an era as she embarks on a new journey to join her family in Dubai, the United Arab Emirates (UAE). ICBF Vice-President Deepak Shetty commenced the proceedings with a warm welcome address, followed by Shanavas Bava delivering a heartfelt presidential address, acknowledging Kuldeep’s unwavering dedication and guidance during her tenure.

Ambassador of India to Qatar HE Vipul praised Kuldeep’s invaluable support to the embassy in domestic workers’ welfare initiatives and extended his best wishes to her on her future endeavours, highlighting the potential for her continued community service in the UAE with his full support.

Expressions of gratitude and admiration poured in from ICC President A P Manikandan, ISC President E P Abdulrahman, ICBF Advisory Council Chairman Sam Basheer, senior community leaders Harish Kanjani, K S Prasad and past presidents Nilangshu Dey and Ziad Usman, along with Vinod Nair, who sent a heartfelt video message, underscoring Kuldeep’s popularity and compassionate contributions to society.

In her address, Kuldeep reflected on her enriching journey with ICBF over the past three and a half years, expressing gratitude for the opportunity to serve the community.

She was honoured with mementos by ICBF Managing committee, associated organisations and friends, amidst heartfelt tributes from Kuldeep’s close friends, who lauded her humble nature.

The farewell ceremony witnessed the presence of esteemed dignitaries and community members who came together to express their gratitude and best wishes for Kuldeep Kour Bahl.The event was gracefully emceed by Zareena Ahad, with a vote of thanks delivered by ICBF Secretary Muhammed Kunhi.The seamless execution of the programme was attributed to the diligent efforts of Managing Committee members Abdul Raoof Kondotty, Shankar Goud, Sameer Ahmed and Kulwinder Singh.

As Kuldeep Kour Bahl bids adieu to her role in ICBF, her legacy of compassion and service to the community will continue to inspire future endeavours, leaving an indelible mark on all those she touched.
