On the second consecutive day of Eid Al-Fitr, the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara) arranged a diverse array of events and activities at both Katara Corniche and Wisdom Square, blending entertainment, culture, and enjoyment in a festive atmosphere.

Salem Mabkhout Al Marri, Director of Public Relations and Communications at Katara, said that over 40 events are scheduled throughout the four days of Eid, running from 3 pm to 10 pm. These events encompass artistic exhibitions, workshops, cultural performances, and more, catering to various age groups and interests.

Notably, Katara featured special theatrical performances for children, including a children’s orchestra and the play ‘Land of Life’. Directed by Hanan Sadiq, the play aims to educate children about environmental conservation in an engaging and artistic manner.

Various artistic workshops provided children with hands-on experiences, such as crafting flowers from paper mache, origami, Eid cookes decorating, and more. Parents lauded Katara’s diverse activities, emphasizing its appeal as a destination for family enjoyment during Eid.

In addition to distributing Eid gifts to children and hosting fireworks displays, Katara opened several art galleries, offering visitors unique creative experiences and insights into art and heritage. These galleries include the Fine Art Exhibition, the Qatar Heritage exhibition, and more, complemented by heritage activities and marine offerings at Katara Beach.

Overall, Katara’s Eid celebrations provide a vibrant platform for cultural engagement, artistic expression, and family-friendly entertainment, fostering a sense of joy and celebration within the community.
