BANGLADESH Embassy in Qatar is observing 'Consular Week' from March 20 to 26 as part of its National Day celebrations.
The country is also celebrating its graduation from 'Lower Development Country' (LDC) status to that of a 'Developing Country' declared by the United Nations recently, according to HE Ashud Ahmed, Ambassador of Bangladesh.
In this context, the ambassador said that the embassy has arranged a 'discussion and interactive session' followed by dinner reception at Grand Hyatt Hotel Doha on March 21.
With regard to 'Consular Week', the Bangladesh ambassador said that during this period, services will be provided much faster. These services would include passport renewal, attestation of documents and visa applications, among other consular activities.
