DOHA: In response to widespread concerns circulating on social media regarding the safety of the 'aphid lion' (larvae) insect, the Ministry of Municipality and the Ministry of Public Health have issued a joint statement assuring the public of its non-toxic nature.
The ministries confirm that the aphid lionspose no threat to human or animal health. Citing environmental assessments, officials assert that this insect is not a carrier of diseases and is considered safe for both the ecosystem and human interaction.
