EL ARISH: A plane belonging to the Qatari Armed Forces arrived in the city of El Arish in theArab Republic of Egypt, carrying 30 tonnes of aid, including food and medical supplies, provided by the Qatari Red Crescent, in preparation for transporting it to Gaza.
Qatar has so far dispatched 91 aid aircraft.
This aid comes within the framework of Qatar’s support for thePalestinian people, and itssupport for them during the difficult humanitarian conditions they are currently exposed to.
The 22nd batch of wounded Palestinians in the Gaza Strip was also evacuated, in preparation for their treatment in Doha, as part of the initiative of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani to treat 1,500 Palestinians from the Strip.
They were received in Doha by Minister of State for International Cooperation at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater.
This initiative comes as a continuation of Qatar's steadfast support and its ongoing efforts to alleviate the suffering of thePalestinian people in the Gaza Strip, in cooperation with various regional and international partners.
