The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the working hours of its health centres during Eid Al-Fitr holidays starting from Sunday, April 7, until Monday, April 15, 2024. During the holidays, 20 out of the 31 PHCC health centres will remain operational.
The 20 health centres listed below will provide family medicine and support services during the Eid holidays continuously from 7am to 11pm, while dental services at these health centres will operate continuously from 7am to 10pm.
These health centres are Al Wakra Health Centre, Airport Health Centre, Al Mashaf Health Centre, Al Thumama Health Centre, Rawdat Al Khail Health Centre, Omar Bin Khattab Health Centre, Al Sadd Health Centre, West Bay Health Centre, Leabaib Health Centre, Umm Slal Health Centre, Gharrafat Al Rayyan Health Centre, Madinat Khalifa Health Centre, Abu Baker Siddiq Health Centre, Al Rayyan Health Centre, Mesaimeer Health Centre, Muaither Health Centre, Al Khor Health Centre, Al Ruwais Health Centre and Al Sheehaniya Health Centre. Al Jumailiya Health Centre will operate on an on-call basis for 24 hours.
Closed Health Centres
PHCC has identified 11 health centres that will not operate during the Eid Al-Fitr holidays. These health centres are: Al Wajba Health Centre, Al Waab Health Centre, Qatar University Health Centre, Umm Ghuwailina Health Centre, South Wakra Health Centre, Al Daayen Health Centre, Leghwairiya Health Centre, Al Kaaban Health Centre, Abu Nakhla Health Centre, Umm Al Saneem Health Centre and Al Karaana Health Centre.
Specialised Clinics
The specialised clinics will be available according to the pre-booked appointments for patients during two shifts. The morning shift will be from 7am to 2pm, while the evening shift will be from 4pm to 10pm.
The ophthalmology, dermatology and ENT clinics will operate daily at both leabaib Health Centre and Rawdat Al Khail Health Centre.
Premarital Examination Clinics
The Premarital Examination Clinics will operate as follows: Al Mashaf Health Centre on Monday 8th April in the morning shift only from 7am to 2pm, Al Rayyan Health Centre on Tuesday, April 9, in the morning shift only from 7am to 2pm and Leabaib Health Centre on Thursday, April 11 in the morning shift only from 7am to 2pm.
Urgent Care
PHCC has also identified 11 health centres that will operate 24 hours, 7 days a week to provide urgent care services, namely: Al Sheehaniya Health Centres (adults only), Abu Baker Siddiq (adults only), Muaither Health Centre (adults and pediatrics), Al Ruwais Health Centre (adults and pediatrics), Al Kaaban Health Centre (adults only), Umm Slal Health Centres (adults and pediatrics), Gharrafat Al Rayyan Health Centre (adults only), Rawdat Al Khail Health Centre (adults only), Al Mashaf Health Centre (adults and pediatrics), Al Sadd Health Centre (adults and pediatrics) and Al Karaana Health Centre (adults only).
Medication Home Delivery Service
The medication home delivery service will be off from Wednesday April 10 to Friday April 12 and will resume on Saturday April 13, 2024.
Community Call Centre
The community call centre (16000) will provide urgent telephone consultations continuously for 24 hours.
