DOHA: Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdulrahman bin Jassim Al Thani held an official session of discussionsin Doha on Wednesday, with Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Spain HEDr Pedro Sanchez.
During the session, they reviewed the relations between the two countries and ways to support and develop them, discussed developments in the situation in the Gaza Strip and the occupied Palestinian territories, and emphasized the importance of strengthening regional and international efforts to reach an immediate ceasefire in Gaza, and facilitating the entry of humanitarian aid into the Strip without obstacles.
The Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs expressed Qatar's appreciation for the positions of the Kingdom of Spain in support of the efforts aimed at achieving peace, security and stability in the region.
Following the session, a memorandum of understanding was signed by the two leaders regarding establishing a strategic dialogue between Qatar and Spain.
