The Ministry of Commerce and Industry (MoCI), in cooperation with Nasser Bin Khaled and Sons Automobiles, Qatar’s Mercedes dealership, has announced the recall of Mercedes A Class, CLA, GLA, and GLE, 2024 model, as the control unit software for the head unit does not meet the factory specifications causing the radio not to work.

The ministry, in cooperation with United Cars Almana, Qatar’s Dodge dealership, has also announced the recall of Dodge Challenger and Charger, 2023 model, as parking brake may have been built out of adjustment, which may lead the vehicle to skid.

The ministry, in cooperation with National Car Company, Qatar’s Mazda dealership, has recalled Mazda CX-60 and CX-90, 2023 model, due to the strength of the steering gear spring, which may lead to a feeling of difficulty in steering the wheel.

The ministry said the recall campaign comes within the framework of its ongoing efforts to protect consumers and ensure that car dealers follow up on vehicle defects and repairs.

The ministry said that it will coordinate with the dealer to follow up on the maintenance and repair works and will communicate with customers to ensure that the necessary repairs are carried out.

The Ministry urged all customers to report any violations to its Consumer Protection and Anti-Commercial Fraud Department, which processes complaints, inquiries and suggestions through Call Centre: 16001, email: [email protected], social media channels @mociqatar and mobile application available on iPhone and Android devices MOCIQatar
