Halqa-e-Ahbab Qatar (HAQ), in coordination with Pakistan Welfare Forum (PWF), organised an iftar dinner for members of the Pakistani community in Qatar celebrating unity, harmony, and brotherhood.

Approximately 300 guests attended the event held under the patronage of Qatar Charity.

Hafiz Muhammad Asif delivered a lecture on ‘Good Ramadan Practices’, where he explained the spiritual and practical benefits of fasting. He outlined how such practices could be maintained and continued after the holy month of Ramadan. He emphasised the importance of such gatherings in fostering strong relationships and promoting collaboration. “Ramadan is a time for fasting, prayer and self-reflection. Iftar events provide excellent opportunities

to meet and greet one another, promoting bonds of friendship,” he said.

Later, Muhammad Idrees outlined the academic and welfare activities of PWF for Pakistani community residing in Qatar. He thanked Qatar Charity and Qatar Foundation for their support towards PWF activities.

An Islamic quiz competition was also a part of the programme. Rana Haider Ali, a teacher from Pak Shamaa School, conducted the quiz. HAQ President Nadeem Qureshi presented prizes to winners.

Representatives of other community organisations also attended the iftar dinner.
