QATARDEBATE, a member of Qatar Foundation for Education, Science and Community Development, recently organised the 4th Qatar Universities Debate League (QUDL) in English.
Hosted by College of North Atlantic in Qatar, the event saw participation of 16 teams from four institutions. The participants debated three motions during the tournament.
The 16 debating teams were from Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, College of North Atlantic Qatar, Qatar University and Weill Cornell Medical College in Qatar.
It is a league system. The debate points earned by the top two teams from each university at tournaments are accumulated. Here are the team rankings for this weekend: Weill Cornell Medicine in Qatar got the highest points, followed by Carnegie Mellon University in Qatar, then Qatar University, and College of North Atlantic Qatar.
