The AMU Alumni Qatar hosted its annual community iftar event on Thursday, March 14, at the picturesque 5/6 Park in Katara area. The event, which brought together alumni, members, and well-wishers, marked a celebration of unity, compassion, and the spirit of Ramadan.

Under the able leadership of AMU Alumni Qatar President Dr. Syed Jaffery, the evening commenced with warm greetings extended to guests, setting the tone for a memorable gathering. As the sun dipped below the horizon, attendees joined in the breaking of fast, partaking in the cherished tradition of sharing a meal together.

With a turnout of approximately 150 attendees, the event served as a vibrant platform for fostering connections and strengthening community bonds. Guests engaged in lively conversations, reflecting the values of solidarity and mutual support ingrained in the spirit of Ramadan.

Vice President Er Javed Sultan expressed his gratitude to all participants for their presence, emphasising the significance of coming together to celebrate diversity and inclusivity. He underscored the AMU Alumni Qatar’s commitment to serving as a beacon of unity, promoting understanding, and contributing to the greater good of society.
