Consumer electronics leader Sony Middle East and Africa, in partnership with Fnac Qatar, ‘the one-stop destination for all things culture, leisure and technology’, held an interactive workshop to coach content creators in shooting videos with their Sony cameras. Titled, ‘How to Shoot Your First Product Video’, the workshop was helmed by Abdel Rahman Gabr, popularly known as ‘Koree’, at Fnac, Doha Festival City.

Abdel Rahman taught participants how to compose and light a video setup, which camera settings to use, and how to shoot it on their Sony cameras for the best results. Setups and demonstrations gave participants a better understanding of how they could enhance their shoots to a pro level.

Korean-Egyptian filmmaker and photographer Abdel Rahman Gabr was born in Queens, New York. The Sony ambassador and founder of ‘Koree Films’ and ‘Art and Creativity’ captures inspiring and engaging stories that serve as time capsules connecting historic culture with modern-day living.

The workshop saw 40 video content creators in attendance. The workshop gave participants hands-on experience with Sony’s range of cameras that combine versatility and image quality with user-friendly features, making them ideal for those looking to transition to more advanced photography and videography.

Abdel Rahman Gabr said: “Sony’s advanced imaging technology with extensive usability and custom-built features are optimized for creators. This workshop was an excellent platform for photographers to learn more about the artistic possibilities with Sony cameras.”
