Doha

The Primary Health Care Corporation (PHCC) has announced the working hours of its health centres during the holy month of Ramadan, with a majority of the 31 health centres operating on a two-shift system (morning and evening).

Accordingly, Family Medicine and Allied Services will operate from Sunday to Thursday from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 4:00 pm to midnight, while Al Wakra Health Centre will operate continuously from 8:00 am to 12:00 am.

The 26 health centres that will operate are: South Al Wakra Health Centres, Al Mashaf Health Centres, Al Thumama Health Centres, Airport Health Centres, Umm Ghuwailina Health Centre, Omar Bin Al Kattab Health Centre, Rawdat Al Khail Health Centre, Al Sadd Health Centre, West Bay Health Centre, Al Sheehaniya Health Centre,Al Wajba Health Centre, Muaither Health Centre, Al Khor Health Centre, Abu Nakhla Health Centre, Mesaimeer Health Centre, Al Waab Health Centre, Abu Baker Siddiq Health Centre, Al Rayyan Health Centre, Umm Al Seneem Health Centre, Al Ruwais Health Centre, Leabaib Health Centre, Al Daayen Health Centre, Umm Salal Health Centre, Madinat Khalifa Health Centre, Qatar University Health Centre and Gharrafat Al Rayan Health Centre.

Dental Services at these health centres will operate during weekdays in two shifts - the morning shift from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and the evening shift from 7:00 pm to midnight.

Health centres located outside Doha will operate as follows:

Al Karaana Health Centre will provide its services including dental services during the morning shift from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm, and evening shift from 4:00 pm to 9:00 pm.

Al Jumailiya Health Centre will provide its services, including dental services, during the morning shift from 8:00 am to 11:00 am and the evening shift from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm, while Al Kaaban Health Centre and Leghwairiya Health Centre will provide their services, including dental services, only during the morning shift from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Urgent care services

PHCC has designated 11 health centres to provide the urgent care service 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Al Ruwais, Umm Salal, Muaither, Al Mashaf and Al Sadd health centres will serve both adults and children, whereas Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Al Sheehaniya, Abu Bakr Al Siddiq, Rawdat Al Khail, Al Kaaban and Al Karaana health centres will exclusively serve adults.

Weekends

Family Medicine Services will be provided during the weekends (Fridays and Saturdays) in Al Wakra Health Centre continuously from 8:00 am to 12:00 am, while Airport, Al Mashaf, Al Thumama, Omar Bin Al Khattab, Al Sadd, Rawdat Al Khail, West Bay, Leabaib, Umm Salal, Gharrafat Al Rayyan, Madinat Khalifa, Abu Baker Siddiq, Al Rayyan, Mesaimeer and Muaither health centreswill provide these services in the morning shift from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and in the evening shift from 4:00 pm to midnight.On the other hand, Al Jumailiya Health Centre will operate on an on-call basis.

Additionally, these health centres will offer dental services during the weekends from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm and from 7:00 pm to midnight.

Health centres located outside Doha will provide dental services as follows:

Al Ruwais Health Centre will operate on Saturdays only from 7:00 pm to midnight.

Al Khor Health Centre will operate on Fridays from 7:00 pm to 12:00 am, and on Saturdays during both the morning and evening shifts.

Al Sheehaniya Health Centre will operate on Saturdays during the morning shift only from 8:00 am to 1:00 pm.

Closed health centres during weekends

South Al Wakra, Umm Ghuwailina, Al Wajba, Al Waab, Abu Nakhla, Umm Al Seneem, Leghwairiya, Al Daayen and Qatar University health centres will not be operational during weekends (Friday and Saturday). However, urgent care services only will be provided in Al Kaaban and Al Karaana health centres.

As for the community call centre (16,000), it will continuously provide 24-hours telephone consultations.
