PARIS: Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces HE Lt Gen (Pilot) Salem bin Hamad bin Aqeel Al Nabet has received the French Legion of Honor Medal of Class Commander at the French capital of Paris.
The medal awarding comes as an appreciation of the role of Lt Gen (Pilot) Al Nabet in promoting military relations between the two friendly countries
French Chief of Staff Lt Gen Thierry Burkhard granted the medal to the Chief of Staff of Qatar Armed Forces during an official ceremony and honour guards review, in the presence of several senior commanders and officers of both sides.
A meeting between the Chief of Staff of the Qatar Armed Forces and the French Chief of Staff followed the awarding ceremony, where the two sides discussed topics of mutual interest and ways to enhance and develop them.
