Baladna, the Qatari owned farm and lead supplier in the Qatari food industry, has confirmed its participation in the Qatar Sufficiency Exhibition (QSSE) to be held in April.
This will be a first-of-its-kind event in the region, dedicated to diversifying production lines and shaping the country's future economy.
Baladna, which will set up a 100-square-metre pavilion at the exhibition venue, will showcase the company's dairy and other food products.
Organised by HiSky for Tourism and Exhibitions, with the Ministry of Economy and Commerce as main partner, the QSSE will be held from April 1 to April 3 at the Doha Exhibition and Convention Centre (DECC).
"Baladna is proud to take part in such an initiative, because it plays a key role in the economic development and food security programme of Qatar," said Baladna's Chief Executive Officer Peter Weltevreden.
"Baladna has shown big expansion up to now, leading to a very promising start of its new business in less than a year, from its establishment in late 2016. We are delighted to showcase our achievements during QSSE and to meet potential consumers, customers and potential investors, to discuss our plans going forward," he added.
