PARIS: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani has appreciated the talks he had with French President HEEmmanuel Macron in Paris saying they wouldstrengthen the strategic partnershipbetween the two friendly countries.
"Fruitful talks with President Macron in Paris today to strengthen our strategic partnership according to comprehensive bilateral cooperation that advances our common aspirations," His Highness the Amir wrote on his official X platform.
His Highness the Amir added, "We consulted on the future of the Palestinian issue as it is the cornerstone of Qatar’s international and regional concerns, and we are making every effort to stop the war in Gaza and deliver aid to our brothers."
