A high-level delegation from Savitribai Phule Pune University (SPPU), Pune, recently visited the MIE-SPPU Institute of Higher Education in Qatar, showcasing a strong commitment to academic collaboration and excellence.

Led by Dr Parag Kalkar, Pro-Vice Chancellor of SPPU, the delegation included eminent members such as Dr Vijay Khare, Registrar and Director of the International Centre; Dr Mahesh Kakade, Director of the Board of Examination and Evaluation (Controller of Examination); Ravindra Shinganapurkar, member of the Management Council; Bageshree Manthalkar, member of the Management Council; and Prasenjeet Fadnavis, member of the Senate at SPPU. Together, they conducted fruitful discussions with the management of MIE-SPPU.

During the meeting, the delegation assured full support to MIE-SPPU in its journey to become a renowned offshore campus of Pune University. They commended MIE-SPPU for its dedication to providing quality and affordable education to students in Qatar.

During their visit, the delegation engaged with faculty members, gaining insights into the academic environment, and took a comprehensive tour of the campus facilities. Additionally, the delegation recognized and awarded prizes to MIE-SPPU students for their outstanding achievements in various fields, including sports and academics.

Eng Ali bin Abdullatif Al Misned, Chairman of MIE-SPPU, and Mohammad bin Hammam Al Abdulla, Chief Patron of MIE-SPPU, expressed their heartfelt gratitude to the SPPU delegation for their unwavering support and collaboration. They acknowledged the delegation’s instrumental role in fostering a strong partnership between Pune University and MIE-SPPU.
