Qatar Scouts and Guides Association recently hosted the Expat Scout Olympic Event at Wakra Public Beach, under the theme of ‘Scout Spirit Games: Unleashing Excellence’.
The event featured a range of sporting activities including Flag Making Relay, Alpine Green, Mixed Relay, Tidal Wave, and London Bridge Relay. Among the 12 participating schools, 10 Scouts from MES Indian School participated enthusiastically, securing the position of second runners-up.
Ahmed Khamis B Al-Yousef, scout activities consultant, alongside Muna Jumah Al Mansouri, 1st scout activities expert, and Paramjeet Kaur Bhullar, coordinator of Expats School, effectively organised the event. The students were accompanied by Rajesh K S and Blessy Peter.
The performance of the MES scouts showcased the institution’s dedication to community engagement and awareness initiatives, earning appreciation from the event organizers.
