DOHA: His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani in a post on the X platform has congratulated Qatar for winning the Asian Cup title yet again.
He also had a word of praise for runners-up Jordan and organisers and all participating countries in the continental championship.
His Highness the Amir wrote: "Congratulations to our national team for winning the Asian Cup and achieving this great continental achievement for the second time, and to the brotherly Jordanian team for [being] runner-up in the tournament. It was an exceptional tournament that presented a wonderful performance and great crowd interaction. We thank the organizers, volunteers and all Asian teams for their distinguished participation."
