The Social & Sport Contribution Fund (DAAM) announced the enhancement of the Fifth Assalam School’s funding for the academic year 2023-2024 due to the increase in the number of

students.

The additional funding comes within the framework of the agreement signed with the Education Above All Foundation, which stipulates that DAAM finances the entire school budget for a period of three years, starting from the 2021-2022

academic year.

This support for Assalam School is an advanced model of effective educational humanitarian philanthropy, undertaken by both DAAM and Qatar Stock Exchange listed companies to promote charitable activities in the country, according to the established plans, and in line with Qatar National Vision 2030.

This support reflects the pioneering role played by both DAAM and Education Above All Foundation, which contributes to building the future for a generation, which almost lost educational potential, with a student population ranging from 675 regular attendance students, to 380 home attendance students, as well as the role played by Assalam School to enable children and young people residing in the State of Qatar and unable to pursue their studies for economic reasons (or for reasons of war conflicts) to access their right to education. Excellent educational opportunities are also provided by a fully trained educational body, in order to take into account this category of students.

Under the agreement, DAAM supports the Fifth Assalam School with the aim of providing appropriate educational opportunities within the framework of the academic education pathway. These contributions are made to a number of students who face difficulties in attending school, and this is done in an educational environment that accepts and respects students for their cultural, linguistic, socio-economic differences, and

develops their academic skills to become active and contributing members of society.
