? In Qatar, talabat consumers responded significatively to the in-app donations and talabat employees also voluntarily donated parts of their salaries where possible.
? As a result, a donation from talabat regionally totaling QAR 1,935,650 ($530,315) will be made in support of humanitarian relief efforts in Palestine.
? All funds are currently being transferred to talabat’s long-standing partners, the United Nations World Food Programme, as well as Qatar Charity, Oman’s Dar Al Atta’a and the Kuwaiti Red Crescent through ‘Give’.
talabat wrapped up its region-wide initiative in support of immediate humanitarian relief efforts in Palestine, by donating 100% of all earnings from orders on May 27th, 2021 to its long-standing partners including the World Food Programme and Qatar Charity.
In addition, customers in Qatar have donated over QAR 205,000 to Qatar Charity, through the talabat app. All proceeds will be used to support families and children in need of humanitarian assistance in Palestine.
