Honouring Mr. Kumara Mangalam Birla
The Birla Public School organised a memorable ceremonious event honouring the Chairman of the Aditya Birla Group, Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla, one of the largest conglomerates in India. The presence of the elite dignitaries - His Excellency Sheikh Saoud Bin Abdulrahman Al Thani, His Excellency Ambassador of India to the State of Qatar Dr Deepak Mittal, Aryaman Birla, Mr. Sushil Agarwal made the occasion an unforgetful one. The guests of honour were honoured by the Chairman of Birla Public School Mr. Gope Shahani and the Directors Mr. Mohan Thomas, Mr. C.V Rappai and Mr. Lukose K Chacko. The dignitaries were honoured with a sapling and the icon of Qatar’s culture – The Falcon, The Oryx, The Dhow and The Pearl.
The Guest were welcomed by the Academic Director- Principal, Mr. Harish Sanduja. The achievements made by the Birla Public School in the field of PISA, NEET and JEE were highlighted during the event. Special mention was made about the child prodigies of Birla for their inventions and achievements. The Chief Guest of the Day Mr. Kumar Mangalam Birla addressed the gathering with his inspirational words and His Excellency Ambassador of India to the State of Qatar, Dr. Deepak Mittal admired and commended the school for its achievement in various fields and also expressed his wish to Make Cricket an acclaimed International game in Qatar. Mr. Lukose K Chacko, the Director, expressed his love and respect to the Aditya Birla group.
The enticising and mesmerizing dance and music programme presented by the students of Birla Public School added grace to the occasion. The grand event concluded with the words of gratitude by Mr. Rajesh Pillai, Vice Principal Co- Scholastics.
