MME-led crackdown on illegal street vending sees confiscations, penalty

A Ministry of Municipality and Environment-led crackdown on illegal street vending in Qatar on Saturday saw several items being confiscated in Umm Al Zubar area.
The campaign was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Al Fazaa Police Department and Al Shahaniya Municipality.
Several illegal street sellers were arrested in the campaign that sought to deter unauthorised street hawking.
