Qatar’s Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs HE Sheikh Mohammed bin Abdul Rahman Al Thani met with Brian Hook, the American Special Representative for Iran and the Senior Adviser to the US Secretary of State, in Doha on Sunday.
The two sides reviewed bilateral cooperation and developments issues of common concern.
Qatar’s foreign minister emphasized the importance of strategic relations and partnership between Qatar and the United States of America, and the continuation of cooperation between the two countries in order to achieve security and stability in the region.
His Excellency also affirmed the position of Qatar towards the importance of not escalating and taking diplomatic means as the only way to resolve all crises in the region.
