The Salwa Beach Resort is set to open its doors to guests soon, the Katara Hospitality announced in tweet on Saturday.
"Due to partial opening and limited available inventory we will be allotting only one villa per family until all premises are operational. Dates and reservation information will be announced soon," it has said in the tweet.
His Highness the Amir of the State of Qatar Sheikh Tamim bin Hamad Al Thani recently made an inspection visit to the Salwa Beach Resort, located 97 kilometres southwest of Doha on Salwa Road near the Aqua Park.
The construction of the resort, which sprawls over 3.2 million square metres, is being managed by the Hilton Hotels & Resorts.
The resort's facilities include 115 villas and chalets, a 246-room five-star hotel, an aquatic theme park, a conference centre, a ball room, a spa, a yacht club and marina, a diving centre and a shopping centre.
