The beaches of Al-Farkiya, Al-Nouf, Ras Al-Khadra, Arada, Imreh and Corniche Al-Thakhira within the municipalities of Al-Khor and Al-Thakhira were the ones cleaned. This was part of the ministry’s efforts to make the beaches ready for the weekend. The General Cleaning Department of the ministry also removed 220 tonnes of tree waste, home furniture discards and other waste materials from the areas of Al-Sakkama, Jeryan Janaihat and Al-Kheisa in Al-Daayen Municipality. Meanwhile, the Umm Salal Municipality represented by the Department of Services Affairs said it carried out 52 sterilization and disinfection campaigns in March, April and May.
