Around 20,000 hamour fish have been released into the Qatari marine waters as part of a restocking programme spearheaded by the Ministry of Municipality and Environmental Affairs.
The programme was carried out in cooperation with the Ministry of Interior’s General Directorate for Coastal and Border Security.
The released hamour fingerlings were raised the Aquatic Fisheries Research Center in Ras Matbakh.
