The gates 3, 4, 5 at the Katara Beach will reopen to the public on July 1, as the second phase of rolling back the COVID-19 restrictions begins in Qatar.
This was announced by Dr. Khalid bin Ibrahim Al Sulaitim, the  General Manager of the Cultural Village Foundation (Katara).
Earlier this month, Qatar annouced a four-phased plan to lift curbs it has imposed to contain the spread of coronavirus. The first phase began on June 15, when some mosques, stores and medical facilities were allowed to open at limited capacity.
The second phase of easing the lockdown would start on July 1, the third on August 1 and the fourth on September 1. The second phase will allow a partial opening of restaurants at limited capacity and malls for limited capacity and hours. During this phase, museums, libraries, markets and wholesale markets will also be open at limited capacity and during specific hours.
