With Qatar set to begin the rollback of anti-COVID-19 restrictions in a staggered fashion, Qatar residents stuck in low-risk countries can return from August 1.
In a press conference held in Doha on Monday, Supreme Committee for Crisis Management Spokesperson HE Lolwah bint Rashid Al Khater said the restriction will be eased in four stages and Qatar will allow in-bound flights from low-risk countries in the third stage starting on August 1.
The scope of in-bound flights will be expanded in the fourth stage starting on September 1 along with the resumption of limited services of the Doha Metro and public buses.
According to Qatar, the rollback of restrictions will start with the opening of some mosques at limited capacity in the first stage on June 15. The second stage will start on July 1, the third on August 1 and the fourth on September 1.
