MoPH prohibits sale and use of product that ‘allegedly protects against viruses’

The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has issued a circular to pharmacies operating in Qatar to prevent the sale and use of the "Air doctor" product because it contains inaccurate and scientifically proven medical claims that it is used to protect against airborne viruses and bacteria.

In a statement, the MoPH said the product is not licensed by any competent authority in Qatar.
