QT-Online / Thursday, April 9, 2020 / Categories: Top News Qatar sets up 3,000-bed quarantine hospital in 72 hours Tribune News Network Doha The Public Works Authority (Ashghal) has erected a 3,000-bed quarantine facility in Umm Slal within 72 hours. The engineering feat comes after the Ministry of Public Health's request. In a series of tweets, Ashghal said the number of beds in the facility will increased to 8,000 soon. M. Dhafer al Ahbabi of Ashghal's Buildings Projects Department said the facility also features a recreation hall that can engage 600 people in various activities, including sports. Its food hall can take in 900 people at a time even after exercising the social distancing.
