QT-Online / Thursday, April 9, 2020 / Categories: Top News Prime Minister inspects Medical Insulation Complex and Hospital in Umm Salal QNA Doha Prime Minister and Minister of Interior HE Sheikh Khalid bin Khalifa bin Abdulaziz al Thani visited the medical insulation complex and hospital in Umm Salal on Thursday , to inspect the readiness of the complex set up Qatar as part of measures to combat the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) outbreak. The Prime Minister was briefed on the medical capabilities and facilities of the complex and the hospital prepared for medical isolation for those infected with the novel coronavirus. The medical insulation complex and hospital has a capacity of 12,500 beds and is equipped with all the necessary amenities, safety, and health requirements. HE the Prime Minister also inspected places for entertainment and meals. During the visit, His Excellency met with the staff of the complex, including doctors, nurses, and volunteers, and thanked them for their efforts in their positions at the front rows to confront the COVID-19 epidemic, urging them to provide all possible medical and humanitarian services to help the infected.
