The Ministry of Public Health (MoPH) has suspended some non-emergency health services at private clinics and hospitals as part of preventive and precautionary measures to limit the spread of coronavirus (COVID-19) in the country.
The move also aims at ensuring the health and safety of patients and healthcare workers.
In a circular, the MoPH said the services such as dental clinics, dermatology and laser clinics, plastic surgery clinics and surgical procedures have been suspended until further notice.
The MoPH has also directed to stop diet and sliming centres, physiotherapy clinics and complementary medicine of all kinds.
