Twenty food establishments in Doha and Indistrial Area have been shutdown for periods ranging from five to 30 days after municipal and health control authorities found several health code violations there during an inspection campaign.
The authorities have stepped up inspections of commercial establishments to ensure their compliance with health standards as part of a broader campaign to fight the spread of coronavirus in the country.
The two-week campaign saw 20 health inspectors raiding 762 outlets over a two-week period.
Recently, three food outlets were shutdown in Al Wakra.
